Jane Alexander

Jane describes her work as "sensory", capturing the feeling and memory of a garden. She often paints in her garden and the RHS garden at Wisley, working within the rhythm of the seasons. Drawn to strong colours, Jane uses a limited palette to reflect the subject and time of year.

Informed by her back ground in illustrated book publishing and her Foundation at UCA Farnham, Jane's work often has a strong graphic element.
