Gallery & Artists

The Frame Shed Gallery celebrates local artists from in and around the Surrey Hills. All work is for sale and can be purchased at The Frame Shed. The changing collection offers original art work, limited edition prints, etchings and framed photographs.

Based in Guildford, Sarah's work is a response to the landscapes in which she walks. Mostly working in acrylic, she captures the elemental nature and energy of a place rather than recording a literal interpretation.

" I like to contrast elements of tight, structured paint work with loose, atmospheric washes and gestural marks."

"While my formal artistic education took place in Brighton, I put my real education down to being dragged around Cornwall as a small boy by my father and introduced to work by Alfred Wallis and Ben Nicholson."
