Julie Sullock

Julie Sullock's work is concerned with the layering of colour to create different perspectives. Her prints concentrate on colour and mood. Born in London, her work reflects her love of plants, and is inspired by RHS Wisley where she works in the Clore Education Centre delivering children's activities.

Julie Sullock studied Fine Art at St. Martins School of Art and then completed an M.A in Print Making at Brighton Polytechnic.

She has continued to make prints since leaving Art College and enjoys combining the opaque qualities of screen, with the more translucent aspects of etching, which mirrors her use of watercolour and gouache in her paintings.

Julies work has been exhibited at the AAF Battersea with a group of Artists named the North London Printmakers for four years. other exhibitions include the Oxo Gallery, the Bankside Gallery and the Mall Galleries. Her work is held in the V& A print archive. She is also a member of the Southbank Printmakers and Printmakers Council.
