Peg Morris

Peg Morris explores dilapidation, decay, solitude, erosion and changing light conditions; processes which transform our surroundings. Fascinated by process, Peg uses different media; drawing, painting, etching, mezzotint, collagraphy, monotype, lithography and artists books. Her work is rooted in observation and drawing underpins all the images she makes. The places depicted in her work, whether interior or exterior, are quiet and contemplative; the composition leading the viewer through the space.

A member of the Southbank Printmakers Gallery since 2015 and the Printmakers Council, Peg manages Kew Studio Print Room where she also teaches etching.

Her work is held in the V&A and PMC Archives. She has exhibited at the RA Summer exhibition, the RBSA Print Prize (awarded 2nd prize 2024), the Ironbridge Print Open and at the Mall Galleries with the RBA, RI, SGFA and NEAC.
